Nichelle and Kaylin

When we go to the hospital to visit Kaylin’s Mommy there is a golf cart
in the entrance that Kaylin loves to “drive.” It is hard to get her to stop.

These next photos show what we do when we go to visit Mommy at the hospital. If Nichelle is feeling well we usually go for a little stroll in the halls of the building. The first photo shows Nichelle and Kaylin giving each other a high five. Nichelle is learning how to maneuver a wheel chair. She can be up for about 10 to 20 minutes depending on her pain level. She is improving by baby steps each day. The doctor’s prognosis is still one to two years till she can walk. We are hoping and praying for a miracle.

Kaylin loves to push her Mommy in the wheelchair. She is such a big girl.
She is really tall for her age.
People often think she is 2 or 3 years old.
She is 22 months right now.

These are a few photos of what Kaylin does while she is at Grandma’s house.
She loves to feed the fish in the pond.
Most of the food goes on the ground so the dogs really like it when she is the one feeding the fish.
She likes to entertain herself and me by spitting water.
I don’t know who taught her that.
It certainly wasn’t me.

Kaylin and I made some chocolate chip cookies to take to her Mother at the hospital.
Kaylin loved licking the cookie dough batter.
She especially loved riding Kyle with her oven mitt while waiting for the cookies to finish baking.

Kaylin likes to model Grandma’s sunglasses even if they are a little lopsided and upside down.

Kaylin is a little “clone” of her mother.
She has the same angel personality and is a joy to be around.
We love both Nichelle and Kaylin so very much.
It is an honor to have both of them in our family.
