Today, we woke up to snow. Yes it is October 27th and 4 days before Halloween and we had about 3 inches on the ground. In Utah, the weather is really unpredictable. It is often said that if you don’t like the weather here to wait a day and it will change. LOL!
Here are a few pictures I took the other day when it really did look like fall instead of winter.
Deer among the scrub oak in Timber Lakes.
A beautiful pond with a stunning reflection at the top of Timber Lakes.
I love to take a picture of this old house with Mount Timpanogus in the background. I think I have one for every season. It is a beautiful setting.
Here is a poem about fall to remind you what it looks like.
by Robert Louis Stevenson
In the other gardens
And all up the vale,
From the autumn bonfires
See the smoke trail!
Pleasant summer over
And all the summer flowers,
The red fire blazes,
The grey smoke towers.
Sing a song of seasons!
Something bright in all!
Flowers in the summer,
Fires in the fall!
So, keep thinking FALL and perhaps it might linger a little longer. Happy Fall!
