The month of November is a good month to recommitment our gratitude for the really important things in life. What are you grateful for?
I love the talk by Thomas S. Monson which stirs a great reminder and challenge for each of us.
……. “Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family.”……In the musical The Music Man, Professor Harold Hill, one of the principal characters in the show, voices a caution that I share with you. Says he, “You pile up enough tomorrows, and you’ll find you’ve collected a lot of empty yesterdays.”…….
Today Milt and I went to the temple. It is a place of complete calm and peace. You forget about the troubles of the world and the challenges you are facing. I’m glad that we took the time today to do something that will bring us eternal blessings. We need to live each day to the fullest. Look around you. Don’t wait until tomorrow to do things that you have been putting off. There is beauty everywhere. What are you grateful for?
Find joy in the journey!
