O Come, Little Children

Published on Nov 23, 2017

The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square perform Mack Wilberg’s arrangement of the German Carol “O Come, Little Children” in this beautiful new Christmas music video from the Choir.
The video follows the intertwining story of a young boy and young girl and their similar adversities. While one child and family struggles, the other child rallies those nearby to lift the burden of the other. All come together and learn from the example of a child, and for a moment, all is well in their world.
“Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 18:4
Lyrics:
O come, little children
O come, one and all.
O come to the cradle
In Bethlehem’s stall.
Come look in the manger,
There sleeps on the hay,
An infant so lovely,
In light bright as day.
The hay is His pillow.
The manger His bed.
The beasts stand in wonder
To gaze on His head.
Yet there, in the stable,
So humble and poor,
Come shepherds and wise men
To kneel at His door.
O bow with the shepherds
On low bended knee,
With hearts full of thanks
For the gift which we see.
O sing little children,
To Him you adore.
Sing joy to the world,
Love and peace evermore.
Christmas Concert 2016.
